AGF Malami Is Public Enemy – Tinubu Campaign Blows Hot

The Bola Tinubu presidential campaign says the Attorney general of Nigeria Abubakar Malami is a public enemy in the footsteps of the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele,

In a tweet, the campaign’s spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, stated that Mr Malami is also a “public enemy like Emefiele.”

Mr Onanuga was reacting to the preliminary objection filed by the justice minister through his lawyers Mahmud Magaji and Tijanni Gazali, asking the Supreme Court of Nigeria to dismiss the suit filed by three northern governors to stop the implementation of the CBN’s naira redesign policy.

Governors Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna, Yahaya Bello of Kogi, and Bello Matawalle of Zamfara had dragged the federal government and the CBN before the apex court seeking to stall the implementation of the naira redesign policy on the grounds that the notice timeline was short and did not fulfil the reasonable notice obligation imposed by law.

The governors also accused the presidency of not doing enough to facilitate the transition of the notes.

President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime has argued that the Supreme Court lacks jurisdiction to entertain the suit.

The AGF also contended that the “plaintiffs have equally not shown the reasonable cause of action against the defendant.”

Northerners Campaigning For Southern Presidential Candidates For 2023 Are Traitors – Northern Coalition Blows Hot

Ahead of the 2023 presidential elections and the quest of who succed president Buhari, Northern youths have threatened to expose northern politicians pocketing money to campaign for southern presidential candidates, calling them traitors.

Abdul-Azeez Suleiman who is the group leader of Coalition of Northern Group ( CNG) while speaking at am event said northerners would not be forced to make choices detrimental to their region.

“The CNG has resolved to expose the faces of identified unpatriotic northern traitors who have been paid huge sums of money to market southern candidates. We categorically reject anything to do with any undemocratic process such as zoning,” it stated. “We urge all northerners to resist the antics and tactics of the self-appointed antagonists and hired cronies from the North who are today all over the place conscripted in the conspiracy to deceive northerners into abandoning what God has blessed us with; its human resources.”

The northern coalition’s position came on the heels of a video on social media showing a member of the House of Representatives, Abubakar Lado Suleja (APC Niger), addressing Bola Tinubu as “Mr President.”

According to the northern group, rotating the presidency between the northern and southern regions is a myth and unconstitutional.

“That the northern population, which is in the clear majority, will never accept any presidential candidate who is the product of an undemocratic zoning process from whichever party,” added Mr Suleiman. “That the northern population, which is in the clear majority, will never accept any presidential candidate who is the product of an undemocratic zoning process from whichever party.”

Nigerian Defence Academy Attack Is Just The Beginning Of Calamities To Befall Nigeria If Buhari Does Not Act Fast – Father Mbaka Blows Hot

Controversial Nigerian clegyman and spiritual Director, Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka, has said Nigeria is sinking with worsening insecurity.

And according to him, the situation may get worse except President Muhammadu Buhari takes drastic steps to address it.

Mbaka said the recent attack by bandits on the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) was just the beginning of calamities that can befall Nigeria if Buhari did not change and God did not intervene.

Gunmen had last Tuesday attacked the Afaka campus of the NDA, which is Nigeria’ foremost military training school, killing two officers and abducting one Major Christopher Datung.

Another officer was hospitalised within the institution as a result of gunshot wounds.

The bandits later reportedly reached out to the military, demanding a ransom of N200 million for the release of the abducted officer.

Mbaka, however, said the arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, who has been in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), would not solve the problem of insecurity in the country.

He, therefore, called for his release, saying Kanu was not the cause of insecurity in the country.

Mbaka said this during Sunday Mass, describing the recent attack on the NDA as a preamble.

Mbaka said, “Did you not hear that yesterday (Saturday), bandits entered into our most secured place in this country, Nigerian Defence Academy? The NDA, the impenetrable place in Nigeria and killed some Nigerian military officers.

“And people are still talking of Father Mbaka and Adoration. And some Catholics are still attacking the worship of Blessed Sacrament through adoration; what are they going there to do? The country is sinking just as I told them last time. The arrest of Nnamdi Kanu; will it solve any problem? Will it stop any agitation? Now, the attack on the NDA; is it Nnamdi Kanu now?

“Is it not better he is released? Since he is still under their custody and NDA could be perforated, violated and mesmerised, what is the hope of this country if it can happen in Nigeria Defence Academy? Where else is safe?

“As I told you people last two months that what you are seeing is just the beginning of the trouble and that the main trouble is coming. This one that they did (NDA attack) is just the elementary part of it. The secondary part of it is still coming.

“I am only asking God to intervene because what is happening in Afghanistan right now; if God is not ready to help us, Nigeria’s situation will be worse in the future. You are free to attack Father Mbaka and criticise me, that one is your problem.

“I am doing my prophetic work, and I don’t need apology or affirmation or support or approval from anybody apart from the Holy Spirit who sent me on this risky assignment. Even if I want to stop it, I can’t even stop it.”
