Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi has declared his intention to run for the office of the President in 2023.
Speaking with state house correspondents in Abuja on Tuesday, January 11, Umahi said he has informed President
Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to contest the presidency in the 2023 general election.
Umahi’s announcement comes hours after Bola Tinubu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), said he had informed Buhari of his intention to contest the presidency in 2023.
According to him, the president told him to consult widely.
