I Deserve The N250million More Than Those Orphans – Singer BabaFryo Tackles Davido

Popular Nigerian singer BabaFryo has comdernmed Davido for donating N250million he got from friends and fans for his birthday to Orphanage homes across Nigeria.

It’s no longer news that the ‘If’ singer has won the heart of many after he donated N250 million to Orphans, while the father of three is being celebrated by many, the “Dem go dey pose” veteran Ajegunle singer took to his social media handle to tackle Davido

Baba Fryo, opined that he was disappointed that the singer neglected him, ‘a known face’, in his trying times, only to gift unknown orphans N250m.

He said, “There is something that I have been seeing on social media that someone gifted orphanages N250m. To me, the thing is funny. I remember when I was depressed, they tagged many of my colleagues; they tagged Davido, Tuface, and others but none of them responded. It was people that have never seen me in this life, people that do not know me that responded.

“This N200m that I am hearing about and seeing on social media is surprising to me. If someone like me who is popular and well known was not helped, it is people and orphanages that no one knows that is being helped; they are been given N250m, it is so funny. I will advise Nigerians and Black people to be wise and stop all these things.

“White people do not do all these things. All what we are doing will look so funny to them. I am not saying that giving money to orphanages is a bad thing because I am an ambassador to an NGO that I do not collect a dime from. But funny enough, when I was depressed and had problems, the NGO did not respond. You see how we are. Now I am seeing N200m and they are posting it everywhere; Davido gives money to orphanages and inaugurates a five-man committee to distribute that money. Everything sounds funny to me.

“If I see someone doing good, I appreciate them; I am not saying it is a bad thing. I just want to ask people why someone like me that people know, who cried out; why did they not help the person that they know? It is the people that they do not know or can see their faces that they are helping out with N250m. Let’s all think; will we call that wickedness or ignorance?

 I tagged the Delta, Rivers and Lagos State government, none of them came to my aid. Is that wickedness or ignorance? But today I am seeing that N250m is going to be distributed to orphanages all over Nigeria. I will advise Nigerians to open their eyes.”

I Have Phone Numbers Of 13 Presidents – Davido Reveals

As an artiste , you would know you have ‘arrived’ if you have good relationship with the President of your country , but when you know 13 presidents from around the world , then you know that you are on another level .

No doubt music star, Davido , is one of the most influential and sought- after artistes on the continent but things were not always rosy for him . During a chat with MTV Base, the leader of the 30 billion gang said that his father was not happy with his career path till he had to prove his worth .

Then I went back to school and the love that I was shown was overwhelming , let alone the way girls began to treat me . That one song with the video made my father realise that I had the talent. And then, I did the song, ‘ Dami Duro’.

“ The song became so big and I remember that the President at the time called my father to talk about me and the song. Even during my father ’ s business meetings with his friends , they would mention my name and the song. Before long , I started travelling and doing shows around the world . Tekno Is The Most Disrespectful Nigerian Artiste I Know – Wizkid’s Manager Speaks On What Went Wrong Between Wizkid And Davido In Dubai

Wizkid’s manager Sunday Are, has finally opened up on the fight that ensued between Wizkid and Davido’s crew members, at the One Africa Music Fest in Dubai some week ago.

The fight according to report started after Tekno ‘disrespected’ Sunday Are by offering him a handshake and got more intense when Davido defended Tekno, an act that led to a fight between the Davido’s crew and Wizkid’s.

Speaking to Saturday Beats, Mr. Are said;

"Initially, I did not want to say anything about the issue I had with Tekno at the One Africa Music Fest because if I speak, the industry would not be happy about what happened.

I just want to be silent on the matter because what actually happened was more or less like the quarrel of a father and son in the house. When a father has a problem with his child in a house, that is when the child will do something that is not good, you scold him and it ends there.

What people have been reading was not actually what happened. When these young boys in the industry act sometimes, it makes me remember the Yoruba proverb which says, ‘a child can have as many clothes as an elder but he can never have as many rags as the elder.’.

Also, what an elderly person sees while seated, a child cannot see it even if he climbs a skyscraper. With all due respect to every artiste in Nigeria both old and young, what happened on that day has never happened before.

No artiste in Nigeria has ever disrespected me. Every artiste in this country knows that I am always there for them and I also try my best not to disrespect any one of them. They can all testify to this.

I always wish every music artiste the best because I stand for African entertainment. I have always wished them the best including Tekno; my happiness is for him to grow higher than he is today.

“Don’t Die Prematurely For People’s Obsessions”- Seyi Law To Wizkid, Davido

Following the crew fight in Dubai last night, Nigerian comedian, Seyi Law has called on Wizkid and Davido to sheathe their swords and embrace peace.
Seyi Law shared a picture of the duo and wrote;

“To @wizkidayo and @davidoofficial Our lives are nothing, but the memories we create. Your celebrity status or starboyism is only a perception. Whether you’re the best or the worst, not everyone will agree. Don’t start hatred neither should you fan the fire of hate. Someday, our bodies will end up six feet below.

Just above it, our memories will live fading with time. Sheathe your swords and embrace PEACE.

Build legacies and write your names as legends. Don’t die prematurely for people’s obsessions. Both of you are doing awesomely well, don’t stop.

Bless You.

SEYILAW.”
