Personality of the week~ Azuh Amatus.

  Azuh Amatus is a multiple awards-winning journalist with over a decade experience. At 25, he emerged as one of Nigeria’s youngest editors when he edited Hearts Magazine, between 2004 and 2005. Today, he is also one of the youngest members of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE). He’s currently the EDITOR of Entertainment Express (Nigeria’s first entertainment newspaper) and Sunday Express. An authority in Nollywood and entertainment matters, he has also worked with various media houses spanning both print and electronics. He was the former Society Editor of The Sun Newspapers and handled its Showbiz Desk. He is also an entertainment consultant/analyst.

A graduate of Mass Communication, Azuh is also an Associate Member of both the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON). He is the current National President of the Movie Reporters Guild of Nigeria (MORGON) and a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ). Azuh is the CEO of Contacts Communications, a leading Media, Public Relations and Advertising consultancy firm.

Recently he was honored by the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), into its revered club of Celebrity Special Marshals (CSM). The youthful editor was on Saturday, November 9, finally decorated.
