The Nasarawa State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Dr Abdulkarim Kana, has tested positive for Covid-19.
The state Commissioner for Health, Yahaya Ahmed, who confirmed this to newsmen, said Kana has gone into self-isolation and that he is in stable condition.
Kana is a member of the state Taskforce on Covid-19 who was reported to be conscious of the pandemic by observing its safety rules like daily wearing of mask, washing of hands and usage of hand sanitizer.
Nasarawa currently has 234 confirmed cases of the viral disease.
