Tiwa Savage Reportedly Escaped Failed kidnap Attempt

 

Popular singer, Tiwa Savage has confirmed escaping from a security breach at her residence – widely reported online as a kidnap attempt.

The talented singer made the revelation on her Instagram handle via a statement signed by her management.

The statatement reads: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.

“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.

"Ms Savage and her family are safe and well.”

According to several media outlets who published the report earlier and quoted self-acclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, the singer’s new driver was alleged to have provided information about her movement known to his co-conspirators, but luckily for Tiwa Savage, all the people in the kidnap attempt have all been arrested and handed to the police

Singer Tiwa Savage has revealed the inspiration behind one of her hit songs, Somebody’s son.

Speaking during a recent performance, she said: “When I wrote this song (somebody’s son) a lot of people told me it wasn’t going to be a hit because only females would sing along to it. Men won’t be able to sing somebody’s son.

But you know what I told them? When I wrote this song, I was not even thinking about a relationship, I was thinking about Jesus Christ because he is the real somebody’s son.

So I said to them weather you are a man or women, people will move to this song because we all need somebody’s son.”

 

Danny Young Claims Tiwa Savage Ignored His Reach

Ajibola Olumuyiwa Danladi, famously known as Danny Young, is presently at war with Tiwa Savage over copyright infringement.

Recall that Tiwa had released a single titled, One, late last year. Shortly after, Danny Young alleged on his Instagram page that she took a line off his 2009 single, Oju ti Won.

Singer Tiwa Savage To Reconcile With her Estranged Husband

Recall that about six months ago, the media was awash over the marital bruhahaha between Mavin record first lady Tiwa Savage and her estranged husband Tunji Balogun, better known as Tee Billz.

According to sources close to the singer, her body language indicates that she’s ready to reconcile with her baby’s daddy. Already, there have been meetings between both families aimed at a peaceful reconciliation,Vanguardreports.

Tiwa is also said to have been meeting with older couples and counsellors who have been advising her to give her marriage another chance in respect of the ‘for better, for worse’ vows she took at the altar.
Vanguard’s source who commented under the condition of anonymity stated that.

Speaking further, the source said,

“Of course, she has also given a condition that Teebillz gets help so that all the issues that led to his public meltdown will not happen again.”

However, there are also reports that Tiwa’s mom was badly hurt by the negative things Teebillz said about her on Instagram, but she’s ready to forgive and forget all because all she really wants is her daughter’s happiness.

As a pointer to the fact that Tiwa is ready to accommodate her husband, she paused her performance last Sunday at the Three Thrones concert which held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, to seek for marital advice from ‘veteran’ singing couple, Tunde and Wunmi Obe (TWO).

“You’ve been married for so long, and you’re also in the limelight; how have you managed to keep your relationship intact for all these years? There’s a lot of pressure on young couples and I’m very jealous of you,” Tiwa said right on stage.

The elderly couple responded by telling her that it is imperative to ‘marry the man you love, communication, the only third party in your marriage should be God.’

Meanwhile, Teebillz’s whereabouts is been jealously guarded like a high-value painting at a museum. His known friends in the entertainment industry have studiously maintained sealed lips in response to inquiries about where their friend is.

But it was gathered that Teebillz is presently not in Nigeria, as he travelled out shortly after the couple’s fight in April. But the good news is that the hermit guy has reopened his Instagram page which he surreptitiously closed down in the wake of the marriage brouhaha.

“You can take my word for it that a reconciliation is in the offing between Tiwa and Teebillz. She has told people close to her that she misses Tunji, and she wants him back in her life. Also, as their son, Jamal (Jam Jam) is growing older, Tiwa wants to ensure that he has a father figure around.”

Well, Nigerian Pop star, Yemi Alade who recently beat Mavin record first lady Tiwa Savage to win the just concluded MTV MAMA award took to her instagram handle to gather votes for,Tiwa for the upcoming MOBO awards.

This obviously didn't sound well with some fans and Nigerians as they kept dragging Yemi Alade through the mud for asking her followers and fans to please vote for Tiwa Savage and even tagged the ROC Nation star in the post.

Tiwa fans were having none of it and told Yemi Alade to stop pretending that she likes Tiwa when the opposite is the case.. Ironically Yemi Alade was also nominated for the same award in the same category.

Marvin first lady Tiwa Savage disclosed in a recent interview with Saturday Beats, that despite everything she has been through in her life, she has no reason to be sad.

The Roc Nation singer said, “I am very happy, I am blessed. I have a child and I have no reason why I should not be happy. I have a beautiful, healthy son and a loving family. My career is getting stronger by the day. I just signed an international deal, why shouldn’t I be happy?.

“Not everybody loved Jesus Christ, so who is Tiwa Savage in the scheme of things? I am nobody. I am just somebody God has put a talent in. In all honesty, when I encounter negative criticisms, I just focus on the people that love me. You cannot make anyone love you, so I try not to convince people that don’t love me.
